Animals with food allergies or intolerances experience abnormal reactions to proteins in their food.

Allergies can manifest as itchy skin and/or ear infections.

Gastrointestinal disorders (vomiting and/or diarrhea) can also be caused by allergies.

Generally, these reactions are caused by beef, dairy products, and wheat.

Hill’s z/d does not use these ingredients and can therefore be used as an elimination diet to eliminate the source of any food allergies.

It can also be used to treat and eliminate harmful reactions such as itching, non-seasonal skin infections, chronic ear infections, and chronic gastroenteritis (inflammatory bowel disease).

Z/d canned and dry foods can be combined into one meal if desired.
